For those who don't come through the "front door" of PistonHeads (like me - I always come straight to the AM Forum, read what you lot have say, and then have a nose around the Classifieds. Then I make it to the articles if I have time!), I thought it was worth sharing this excellent little blog post by Dan Trent.

As an avid mountain biker and skier, I can totally relate to Dan's sentiment and, I'm pleased to say, my AMV8 is a true "flow" car. Not the most powerful in its class (esp mine, in 4.3 trim), nor the quickest from 0-60, but the way it flows along the right road can be mesmerising, making it a member of a select group I think. Balance, grip and enough power to put smile on your face.
The soundtrack and the interior are all bonuses, of course
My dad's got an RR Sport Supercharged, so may have to do a car swap for the weekend and test that one out!
PS - The two things I usually look at first in the Classies are V12V's and S1 Elises
