Any recomondation for indoor car covers for a V8VS?

I had a look at http://www.specialisedcovers.com/, they seem nice and a resonable price, though I hav no idea if there any good.

Very happy with the one they made for my DB7 Vantage Volante. I have also heard of good reports about Classic Additions covers. http://www.classicadditions.com/

Iv had Specialised for my last 3 cars inc the Vantage, and very pleased, havnt found any better yet

they hold value well too, always in demand for used sale... better than the car itself smile

I got the proper Aston one for my DB9 from eBay, paid something like £150 instead of £280 or whatever.

I kept bidding on them until eventually I got one for £150. Think it was from HWM as well...

I agree with yeti, get the 'proper' one as you'll also benefit from the 'Aston Martin' wings

I first looked at the "Proper" Aston one but I was quoted nearly £600 by the dealer which I thought was a bit steep for a cover.

Just curious, what is the advange of a “fitted” cover, other than it looks great, over a generic “loose” cover. Is there not a chance of scratching the paint with a fitted cover if the car is not really clean?

I also just noticed that on the Specialized site that they say you need “wipe” clean and not to put in the washing machine. By nature the cover is going to get dirty and it seem a bit of a pfaff to have to clean it by hand. Any thoughts?

I would guess the proper Aston one is coming from Specializeds factory anyway...but if you dont buy from Aston you cant officially have the wings, or officially pay 100% more markup wink

...same for most "official" covers ....depends if you have a show garage or not I guess and want all your cars with covers and badges on them to look at over a beer

if you just have a dark dingy concrete garage you spend little time actually in yourself, Id save the £300 extra for the wings wink

Just to confirm.... The official AM cover is from Aston.... Just without the Wings...

I later had V8 Vantage embroidered on mine for a small extra charge....

As for cleaning etc... I obviously don't put it onto a dirty car.... But the cover itself has remained spotless for a year nowsmile
