With the demise (hopefully not forever!) of DMS, I need a new indie and wondered if anyone has used these chaps http://www.paramount-performance.com/acatalog/asto...

First line should tell you all you need to know:

"Paramount Performance is a name synonymous with Jaguar"

For pure product knowledge, no-one will beat Bamford Rose; it's where I'm going this month.

If I was going main dealer, HWM would be getting my money though.

I have used them for one of my previous cars.... They are a very friendly bunch.. And that is about as positive as I can go.... Oh thay do have a coffe machine on free vend... wink I do like free coffee...

If you have a Jag then go for it... If not then maybe keep looking..

If you are local to the Slough area then it wouldnt be much further to go to Trinity Engineering in Surrey... I know I keep mentioning them, but when you get great service like theirs, I just cant keep quiet about it...

The colour on that one is standard isn't it? I think it's called Versuvius orange, or something along those lines, was a special edition when the RRS was launched. Seen far worse Range Rovers anyway, just look at anything by Project Kahn.

Yep, is Vesuvius, was the launch colour. Looks far worse now, complete chav-mobile. Paramount chipped it and added a loud exhaust. Actually makes it drive worse than standard as it wants to accelerate all the time, so it needs real pressure to hold it on the brakes at junctions etc.

I must go and have a look round there at some point, not far at all from me. Poke around some Astons then a shandy at Brooklands!

A couple of pints of real ale then driving home into London is never a good idea, whether I be a southern softy or a northern monkey...

Better a pint of shady than a half of bitter though. At least it looks like a real drink that way!

Tim is the Surrey area AMOC rep.

I had some work done at Trinity a few months ago. I was very pleased with them.
