v8 Vantage - Scoop piccies in this weeks Autocar
Discussion
Great shots of a silver mule undergoing testing. I'm glad to see it looks very similar to the concept car, although this one's using DB9 headlights. Personally, I hope they keep the look of the concept when it comes to this, as it really differentiates the two cars (and look much nice, IMHO).
Also, they claim a 6-speed manual will be standard, with an F1 style manual available as an option (no room for the DB9 auto box). Whilst I welcome the manual, I really hope they've got the F1 box sorted. If there's one thing that road tests of the Vanquish complain about, it's the transmission. The gearbox in the DB9 gets nothing but praise.

More spy shots on the 4Car website (I would post a link but I'm a numpty when it comes to that!).
Whilst the mules are still using DB9 headlights, they don't appear to fit very well. Anyone know if it'll keep the concept style lights? I really hope so as it helps differentiate the front end (and they're much more funky than the 9's )

I agree with you on the lights TWIN TURBO , they just don't seem to sit quite right using the DB9's.

I had a feeling they'd compromise it like that. Sufficed to say I shan't be putting the latter picture on my wall.
When Ford showed the Cougar concept is sat low on wide rims with uber sexy headlights.
The production version sat high and skinny on narrow little rims. Aston have done the same here and spoil the look of the car. I hope for their sakes they have the sense to change them back sharpish.
