Has anyone ever met anybody who has won one of these?????

There was a tungsten silver V8S in Gatwick a couple of years back when I was off to the Maldives. I was having a look and the sales guy comes over and says "Can I interest you in a ticket?". I politely declined but he kept on going. After several polite refusals I got a wee bit stroppy and said "I don't want a ticket as I already have the same car but in a different colour" and walked away with my other half. As we are on the escalator he shouts - LOUDLY - "Well, would you want to ticket to get your beautiful wife a matching car?"
I could not fault the guy for effort - the Black Knight school of sales!
Yes I actually know Erik who won a Gallardo.
In the event, being Swedish, 30, with no no claims, no car, no garage and living in a ratty part of London he took the cash instead. Broke his heart every time he saw a lambo after.
He's the first chap in the 2006 mugs gallery.
Honestly he's the nicest guy. I was chuffed to bits for him.
I've probably done about £200 in tickets since but never won anything.
I don't suppose having zero interest in football has any impact?

That's who I (and probably Bogie) was thinking of too.I've played a few times but never come very close to guessing where the ball is.
Back at around the turn of the century I won a flight for 2 on Concorde playing a spot the ball competition which a supplier of mine at the time organised.
Living in Newcastle at the time, we had a coach to Leeds/Bradford Airport; champagne reception and a flight (Mach 2) up over the N Sea,Arctic Circle back down over Scotland; meal on board with the obligatory fine wines and more 'poo; then a coach back to Newcastle.
Never played spot the ball since nor have won anything (apart from the odd £25 Premium Bond win here and there)
