I presume some on here are going to love that news, and others be slightly annoyed!

Have been hearing this on a German site who have seen the car being tested.
Good news as there might be some nice coupes coming on the market.

Sorry to sound smug but I was the one lonely voice in the wilderness who was adamant this would be the case, despite all saying nono

What a car that will be.

Sadly it will be well out of my reach frown

Did he mention anything about production numbers? I wonder if it will be even more limited than the coupe. Can't see it doing much good for coupe prices though.

I hope they aren't all manual too, could be a good candidate for future car if they do an ASM2 or TT version.

Heard it myself so definately true. There is one car in existence already and another being built in a couple of months. Production will be to order only with estimated sales of only 50-100 cars ! It's going to be a monster! Saw The new Z car at the 1-77 facility- wow so much better in the flesh .

cool smile

the truly rich and wealthy can buy those, and a 3-4 year old "regular" V12V will become affordable by us wages slaves ...I cant wait smile

Aw frown That's just ruled it right out of my price bracket. Could be a good investment though, a sure future classic.

Hmm, hard to argue against that being my dream car... It actually has everything!!

I really need to think long and hard about it. Running that alongside my DB9 might be rather fun, losing a few of the others. Hmm.

Anyone know if this car will have the same engine specs as the coupe? I'm assuming this one will also have 510 bhp?

If it goes into production at the end of 2012 I'd expect it'll have the DBS 2 engine, so 540bhp.

Then expect a V12V-S run out model with the DBS 2 engine...

What else do you expect from an ex-Porsche guy?

A V12V Roadster makes perfect sense to me, but not a V12V-S. They already struggled to sell all 1000 V12V in more than 2.5 years. If they are going to release an S version with upgraded engine, a lot of V12V customers will be p**** off. I doubt selling another 100-200 V12V-S cars will justify that.

The most interresting thing to me is what gearbox does it come with. TT2, semi-manual oder manual ?

If Aston do manage to stick with 1000 V12V's then would an even more limited run of V12VR's affect the coupe values?
