It looks like a nice clean car, low ownership (2 in total) and full main dealer history.

What would you guys say it would be worth, trade and private sale?

If anyone can give me a rough guide, that would be great.

Thanks in advance.

Speaking honestly, it's about right as a private sale. Trade would be the top end around the buy it now. If its really in that good a condition, and given the low mileage, it's a fair price.

Hope that helps.

That ad & his feedback would put me on the back foot
Plus I'd nvere by a car of that complexity and value off ebay unseen and untested confused
If you are interested suggest he pay for an AM dealer check for extended warranty and see what he says or the dealer comes back with wink
BTW He needs to be on the "bad parking" thread as well wink

are you seriously thinking of bidding for a car you have never seen or researched....are you mad ?......if however you have been to see the car and have more details on it then give us the details and we may have a better idea of its value

I think the BIN price is a bit keen, £45k is what's on offer for an '05 24k miler from an Aston Dealer on Autotrader...

"stunning immaculate DB9 5.9L semi auto tiptronic" Get it checked over mate. Everyones interpretation of Stunning & Immaculate can be so, so different. I found this out when looking for my current car, dealers and private sellers alike, some of the flawless cars i went to see were 5 out of 10 at best. This could be a costly mistake for you by not doing your homework, or, it could be the best buy on ebay !! Are you a gambling man?

Early car, standard wheels, probably iron-ore interior. Low miles are nice for later resale, but can't see if it has cruise, premium audio, phone prep or any of the other guff.

I'd pay a maximum of £40k (post inspection).

Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't buy a car which had either

terrifying supercar performance

dramatic head turner

in the sales particulars.....

I have bought several cars off eBay- including a Bentley and Porsche 911 (997) Cab.

I only would buy if the seller is happy to allow me to have a full main dealer inspection carried out after winning the auction.

To answer your question, yes, I am quite mad.

Interesting and thanks for that, the reserve is around 35k I believe.

Will be going to see one at my AM dealer this weekend hopefully. He's found me a 05 DB9 with full AM history and 23k on the clock, and is offering it at £38,900.

I agree with FaseB. For a private deal I think the buy it now proce of £44k is way over the odds. If you're not looking for AM main dealers I would just look on the classifieds on PH. There was one ibn Basingstoke at a place called SASCOM (or similar) and that was only £39k.

Can't imagine that the reserve is going to be much less than the BIN.
