Dropped through the letterbox today. Page 46 has a photo of what is claimed to be a production Zagato.

It has a new carbon fibre base to the area where the gear stick goes and the panel where the ECU slots in is carbon fibre. Must say that it looks quite tidy. Less chrome and more carbon fibre works for me...

Plus one! And looking at them I wondered how the hell you are supposed to tell the time from them!

I spotted that too John. I also saw a watch I quite liked, but when i looked it up it was £60k - it may be cheaper to buy the carbon parts!

the interior leather was a big naff IMO ...couldnt cope with that, otherwise the Zag looked good

I've seen the Zagato also! Performance figures are a bit low for a 300+ K car, imo.

I actually thought the magazine was far better than usual. Some fantastic photos in this edition and some interesting articles too.

I also agree that the Zagato leather is waaaaay over the top for my taste but love the carbon fibre!!!

Well I have to disagree with you both - looks stunning to me! I love how they have stitched the leather to look like muscle fibres. Makes the Zag cockpit rather special...

I liked the leather too, but my daughter hated it. Probably needs to be seen to get an accurate view.

Must say though the Zagato does look good, am I in a minority for thinking that 95% of Zagatos look completely rubbish? They have messed up Bentleys and a range of other cars, so when we heard they were about to do an Aston it felt a bit like celebrating Mansory bringing out something new rolleyes But this time they have got it right.

I think this months magazine is probably the best yet, the photography is excellent. The leather in the Zagato is a bit mad. I'm sure that they are trying to distance it as much as possible away from the V12V. Plus it should have at least 50BHP more to justify the price tag.

I don't like the look of the Zagato (especially the wheels) but the picture on page 111 makes the car look fab.

I agree Bogie, bit too flashy/OTT for my tastes, leather centres aside the buckets looked good though.

Just read the magazine, I love the leather in the centre of the seats. Really not a fan of the carbon centre console though.

Leather seats alone would have looked fantastic, especially on what will be a rare car.....but extending it everywhere including the roof lining is a bit tooooo much.

Unfortunately, in the real world I doubt very much if I will ever see one in the flesh so the interior is irrelevant. I have to admit to emailing the powers that be to say what a scoop it could be to have a female, aka me take one round Milbrook.

The request was side stepped, but I did get a poster YAY biggrin

If I recall correctly you have seen, and been inside, a one-77 so perseverence might pay. How about the two of us approaching AM for a male v female perspective on the new car, perhaps around the n-ring ? At least I might get a poster too !

I'm liking your thinking.

Yes the one-77 was great. Actually its amazing how blasé you become sitting in a £1,000,000 plus car, then afterwards you think, WOW. I guess knowing its just a far dream detracts from the reality of actually being in a position to own one.

P.S the poster is great

+1

The interior reminded me of the 'Bodies' Exhibition in Las Vegas.

The interior compliments the muscular exterior design perfectly smile
