Now , why is it that the 'mood lighting' in Astons (and Evoras from experience) are not the same type of bulbs. Some are LED others standard bulbs - so the lighting is not the same. This i find slightly annoying , am i missing something here...................surely the same light in dark and light shades (i.e mood lighting) is the right way to go?

Surely mood lighting is the ambient lighting in doors and footwells that luxury cars use? With different modes for city, motorway, etc. like the Audi A8? Don't have any of that in my new AM.

There is the usual stuff that lights up such as instruments and switches, but there isn't that much of it

In the Vantage the only interior bulbs that are LED's are the ones above the mirror
Foot well ones are blue tinted bulbs and a swine to swap to LED's frown
Door ones are simply bulbs similar to the ones in the boots. As are the rear number plate bulbs.
I've swapped all mine bar the foot well ones.
It does give a more co-ordinated look.

They're all easy to change for LEDs.

There have been a few threads on here about them (and a few on the AMOC forum too).
