I'm not entirely sure why one would need this tongue out, but Aston Martin is now pushing "low rate" finance on home webpage.

On a side note, aren’t they legally obliged to quote the APR on all such illustrations in the UK?

Total cost 97,152. How much higher is that than list? On a more philosophical note I try to avoid car finance. I'd rather pay 50k cash for something older and own it than use that towards a deposit. There's something liberating about not having various millstones around your neck to worry about. A fat mortgage is about my limit. But that's just me :-)

My philosophy too. I hate to see the value of my "new" pride and joy dropping faster than the outstanding money I owe.

Indeed. Absolutely takes the fun out of ownership which somewhat defeats the object of owning an Aston. I know of a few people that had to take out top-up loans to cover the balloon!!
