Picked up my car today ....a DBS ... After a collection of Porsche cars I wanted something different ...looked around and could not find anything that I fancied till a friend send what about a Aston Martin . So night spent going through this forum and classified ads plus the official Aston web site .The owners seemed a nice bunch ...even those of questionable humour !
Next two weeks test driving a couple of DBS's plus the new V8 s . Then sat down and thought about it for a week .
Visited Aston Martin at Cheltenham,Amersham and West London . All dealt with my enquiry professionally and returned calls when they said they would . viewed a car on Saturday last week .... Deal done by Monday lunch time and paid for on Friday . And now it's all mine ! A Aston Martin DBS .... Mine ...really ....I keep going out and checking it's still there!
You can stand back and just look at the detail of the design ...for hours! ..... So why does it feel so special ...to own a Aston Martin .... Because it does to me ...and I have had all the rest of the makes ! And yes I understand the rules ... Will get a photo up tomorrow if it's nice weather !

Great day in the new car ...down to pick up Son from boarding school . 14 year old boy's face....happy . Lunch in a village outside of Winchester then back to school and drive back down the A30 just for the hell of it ! So photo taken this morning .... Any ideas please how to download onto here? Chris
