If you're keeping the car - do it when it suits you. If you are going to be selling - do it on the right date.

I would not buy an AM without the correct stamps and I'm sure you'd remove a large part of your would-be purchasers if you don't.

If you have warranty then you will have to do it now .......otherwise It wont make any difference to its value if you have it serviced in Feb

Agree with Michael! AM is quite strict with the warranty-service! If anything goes wrong before the service has been carried out (on time) then you might have problems with the warranty!

Theres no warranty , that ran out in jan.I'm thinking as i have the paper work for the sorn and the road tax has been refunded if i ever sell it people can see that is was off the road not being used, fingers crossed it will be ok. I think john is correct also but his is a 100k car and mines a 32k car.

I also did this Jan-March 2011 as I was not able to drive mine owing to shoulder surgery. The advice I got from Rick at DMS, was pump the tyres up say around 40psi and every 6 weeks or so start the car up and run up to operating temperature. Also make sure you move the car so as not to develop flat spots on the tyres, plus leave handbrake off.

I did see the other week in my local AM dealer some rather neat pads for putting under the wheel to stop the flat spotting!
