Driving home tonight and a huge stone flew out of a lorry and hit my high finish chrome radiator grill causing a very minor dent. It's going to drive me ad knowings it's there, so I was going to buy a replacement and wondered if anyone can advise on how easy they are to replace?

Thanks

DH

When I drove my V12V into a wall I discovered that the horisontal bars are just slotted into the vertical bars. They slip out nice and easy.

Sounds like they're modelled on a G4 prison!

I've never been in a G4 - always rather preferred the sound of a G5...

John, thanks for the advice, as it's the top of a horizontal that's damaged, it is just a matter of removing and refitting upside down thus hiding the ding. Many thanks. DH

Sorry but no. The horizontal bars on a V12V at least have a definite top side and a bottom side. I don't think you can swap up and down in the manner you suggest.

Right, had a crack at pulling the damage louvre out which I managed to do. I have cleaned it up and sorted damage, but now the louvre won't go back in flush with the others, it's there but not quite and I don't want to take a hammer to it, lol.

Any suggestions John. Thanks DH

Er, I'm shocked. Mine came out so easily, I was surprised they did not fall out. I have not technique or tip to offer. I can only suggest some oil to help slide it back.

The grill must be different since there is no clear top and bottom on yours.
