I keep seeing the same details by Main Dealers on their adverts. It certainly does not read right to me!

Or is just me that has got it wrong!confused

Seen it a number of times now on different dealer car adverts!

"Emergency brake assist (EBA), Side Airbags, Aston Martin 160 W audio system, Dynamic stability control (DSC), Electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), Alarm and immobiliser, Ventilated, grooved disc brakes with ABS, Full leather interior, Dual stage driver and passenger front airbags, LED Rear Lamps, 6 CD autochanger, Trip computer, Tyre pressure monitoring, 18" alloy wheels - 10-spoke design, Electrically adjustable front seats, Rear parking sensors, Satellite navigation system, Battery conditioner, Bright finish grille, 19 alloy wheels - 7 spoke design, Heated seats, Cruise control, Blue tooth telephone preparation, Front wheel stone guards, Xenon (HID) headlamps including power wash, Right hand drive."

Also, is it just a ploy to get you to phone/visit when you find that the car does not exist/sold weeks before they placed the advert.

A recent one was where the advert actually stated "Deposit Taken" and remained advertised for over a month. I contacted them when it first appeared, they said SOLD last week. (Not main dealer!)

Or the Yellow one with 4000 miles that has been advertised for over 12 months! Also not main dealer but can they really have not sold it in all this time!

Just a bit frustrating!moan

Its a bit like Recruitment agencies advertising false jobs just to capture your details on their database.

It's a cut and paste from a specification sheet. Hence why you see two wheel sizes mentioned - there are two columns of data - standard equipment and optional.

That's all!

Yes it’s clear that it is just a cut & paste, but what does that say about the organisation, product and individuals employed by them?

Talk about lack of attention to detail. It’s supposed to be a premium product at a premium price.

You would think that if the main dealer is spending money on marketing and employing someone to place these adverts, they would make sure they are accurate and effective. Clearly they are not very efficient or professional!!

(It’s not just two different sets of wheels; Sometimes they have two different audio systems! I’ve seen this a number of times on Main dealer sites so don’t know if there is someone central does it for all the different Aston main dealers)

It certainly does NOT impress me!furiousranting

Hold on fella!

The stereo may be duplicated because the standard 160W is duplicated with a 700W or 100W stereo.

The people in the dealers have a system that provides the original spec. They all cut and paste.

It tells you that the majority of second hand car salesman employed by AML authorised dealers are not technically literate and don't have the eye for detail you do...
