There appears to be be a number of us that work in The City, with quite a few of us working in the Moorgate / City Road area. So, is anyone interested in meeting up for a drink one evening?
Depending on numbers could either just meet in a bar or I can look at getting a private room in a bar / an area sectioned off.
Thoughts haven't got any further than this yet, so more interested in numbers that would be interested. So if you like the idea, list your name below, and if you have a preference for a location.

1 . Neil1300r Master Gunner, Finsbury Square (being really lazy as it is next door to office)

Yes! Sorry, if it read as only people working in the City. Its for anyone that wants to meet in the City for drinks - so probably best to leave the cars at home.

Sounds good to me - I'm West London and only unchangeably busy on Tuesday evenings!

Ah come on, the Master Gunner - you must be having a giraffe!

What about somewhere a bit more classy like? Not that I'd fit in, but as a non-drinker I don't generally fit into any bar...

Coq d'Argent is a bit swankier! Just my 2p worth...

I'm in Broadgate. No point going to the Silver Cock now that "summer" is over. The Alchemist on Gresham Street?

Anywhere around here is good for me, I've never actually been into the Master Gunner but count me in wherever.

I am in Singapore until 14/11 but can usually be found hanging around the Gresham Street area where we have an office so if the dates work I am up for it.

Slightly off topic but I used to park my GT3 in the Finsbury Square underground car park when I was working there full time and spent ages walking around looking at and admiring all of the Astons in there; must have had the right impression as I own one now smile

Yo Guys, organising the meet should be plain sailing.

There must be a pub called the 'Cor Blimey Arms'.......perhaps the 'Southern Jessie Tavern'....

or just stick to the old private members' favourite...the "Let's shaft everyone North of Watford Club"

Innit smile

Ah, now how old do you mean? It was called the Master Gunner back in 1998 or so when I worked in Finsbury Square then renamed to Finches then renamed back.

North of Watford? Is there anything North of Watford? I thought that the there was nothing past Junction 6/6a on the M1. Are you sure there's anything there?

They made your car North of there me old muka.

Indeed, if you ignore the enormous turd festering upon spaghetti junction, there are many booootiful spots north of jct 6.
