Maybe the wrong forum, but here goes:-
I am taking delivery of a new RR Sport in a couple of weeks time, and on the invoice is a charge for 'A Glaze Protection'
Any of you Aston owners with RR's know anything about this?
I didn't have anything done to my DB9, and am quite happy with the Gtechnic products I use.
(I know, I should have upgraded to the wonderful DBS Volante. Maybe next month.)

Stick with Gtechniq, A Glaze is just average product applied by valeters (99% of the time) with little care, time and knowledge for the price you're paying.
Also RR paint is soft, a valeter with soft paint and in a rush will not end well.
Or ask a Gtechniq agent in your area about TSP, more info on the Gtechniq website.
Regards
Simon

Don't let them do it....
From experience you'll probably land up with a swirly mess with original dirty marks now sealed under the application.
Again from experience by all means get it protected but use a professional detailer or at least get their opinion.
No detriment to your LR dealership but once bitten twice shy and all that.....

www.gtechniq.com if you want that kind of protection
my car is 5 years old and just had it re-applied this year - theres a thread on here somewhere with pics

Took delivery of one a few weeks back and that had some 'protection' on. Swirl marks all over. Luckily I'm swapping it again in a month's time, and will insist they don't do anything to it and I'll get it prep'd properly before I take delivery.I am taking delivery of a new RR Sport in a couple of weeks time, and on the invoice is a charge for 'A Glaze Protection'

No doubt they also tried to sell the "benefits" of Gap, wheel and paint chip insurance..........except if you read the small print a chips of a certain size are out of warranty. That says it all really
Yup, I fell for the chip insurance. Used it for four minor chips but tbh I think I could have done better myself with the chip paint pack.I agree with previous comments, it's just a way of taking more cash out of your wallet.
Ocean53 - spend the money with a good detailer instead. The results will be much much better and last longer. I see you're in west Sussex - I know a fantastic detailer close to you who I trust to work on my V12V. PM me and i will let you have details if you are interested. I hope to post some photos of his work shortly!
Not sure if your just letting us know what u get for the £300 or if you're still thinking of having this done?
Don't have this done even if it's free. It will cost you £300 - £600 to get a pro to sort the cock up. And the warranty will have more holes in it than a second hand dart board.
But at end of the day it's your money some people like to learn the hard way.

BTW Mr Gould your spelling in your recent posts has gradually declined and is now borderline atroshus.
