Hi,
just seen that the St Pauls protestors have now setup a second camp on Finsbury Square.
Be careful tomorrow if you are driving in and using the car park, or driving that route.
May have to shout abuse at them from the office

Thank you Neil. I shall reroute my day by about 300 miles.
Throw them some cake a la Marie Antoinette
There's quite a few of us that work around the area, will have to organise a drink for evertone in the area. If you supply the cakes (rock) we'll throw them at the protestors for you.Throw them some cake a la Marie Antoinette

Remember Neil that modern historical interpretation now views mlle Antoinette's gesture as an act of humanity. Something along the lines of there being no wheat to make bread so only cakes were being produced...she sees starving protestors and insists that cake supplies are given to them....that kind of thing.Ergo, your deluge of rock cakes will actually be very much appreciated

There's an alternative, that the "cakes" were made with a mixture of sawdust, dandruff and flour...Ergo, your deluge of rock cakes will actually be very much appreciated

I did wonder why they were protesting about capitalism at St Pauls!
They wanted to use Paternoster Square and protest in front of the LSE but it's not a public space so they could not.I'm all in favour of the right to peaceful assembly and to protest but these guys are taking the piss. The cafe in Finsbury Square will suffer terribly and they'll mangle the bowling greens.
