I asked Tony if we could do something a little different when I ordered my sill plaques. I thought it would look cool to do a reverse plaque (i.e. clear lettering on a black background). After a mishap with the post on the first set, my new plaques finally came in today (thanks Tony) and I'm very pleased with the results. What do you think?

Looks great KF. Maybe I missed it, but a member (Tony?) here on PistonHeads makes these? Can you post the price, or is that verboten?

They look good in black. Make sure you paint your screw heads the same colour though smile

I really think the plate looks great. I just can't see having one's name on the plate. For me, I'd be too self conscious for such a thing. But, to each his own.

The screw heads are the OEM which are black anodized and I painted gloss black. However, because the sill plaques are laminated they reflect the light differently so they don't look like a perfect match.

Oh wow those look good, I might want something done, in the absence of Tony on this thread what sort of ballpark figure are we looking at?

I thought just the same when I had my V8V. But when I got the V12V I thought " hell yeah why not I'll give it a whirl" And have to say absolutely luv 'em.

They look ace!! I have a set of normal THUG (Tony Hall Unique Gadgets - copyright Jockman) ones, to be honest no-one notices except me.

And I smile every time I get in the car and see them smile
