V12 comes off low loader - perfectly repaired by AM Works Service.

Then I drive it into a wall.

Bumper, splitter, bonnet, grill all dead

Plus I need to pay for the wall to be repaired.

I really wish I was a drinker because then I could go out and get plastered...

Whoooow horsey.....slow down here.

Was this why it was sent back to WS or has this happened on the second delivery? frown

If you were a drinker, you'd have a valid explanation as to why you drove the car into a wall in the first place. What happened? confused

My sincerest condolences. weeping

This is the second delivery. The first one was just a wee debate about some paint repairs.

I called the delivery driver and asked him to pop back and collect it.

Just in my office carpark.

V12 is now on the way back to Newport Pagnell.

Sorry to hear John, you seem to be very unlucky recently with the V12V. frown

Perhaps you should consider a Cygnet instead, not fast enough to get you into trouble smile

Do you get the pleasure of the 911 for even longer now?

On the bright side, at least it wasn't in Finsbury Square or something where countless people would have seen as they walked by.

Hope you get it back very soon

Foot slipped off the brake - I hit the wall at about 3mph. I reckon a Cygnet would not have enough torque to do much damage!

You can come and look at mine from time to time while you wait for its return. hehe

I cracked my passenger side mirror glass in an encounter with white van man on Holloway Road last week. Only £49 for a replacement! I still felt like a knob, even if I'm convinced WVM moved towards me.

Bumper, splitter, bonnet, grille, respray. I reckon about £12k.

£49 is a round of drinks!

Sorry, to hear about that, not good, really feeling for you, especially as you sent it back earlier in the week
Most retarded?
There's a bit of a queue for that award at the moment:-
Cleaning wheels with acid wheel cleaner
Jet washing your big toe
Driving a newly repaired V12V into a wall
Dropping two mountain bikes onto the bonnet

And those are just the ones I know about / people have owned up to!

Really sorry John.
No doubt you will be sitting there musing all what if's, if only and why me!!
I know I'm a girly but I actually cried when my OH kerbed my wheel. He reminded me that he hadn't said a word when I creased his Audi wheel arch. I was so angry I said "yeah but your car is st"
A comment that I reached out to grab, and instantly regretted but too late.
These damn Astons make you so emotional.

It can and will be sorted, so chin up matey, you will soon be back behind the wheel.

B#gger, sorry to hear the news, I feel for you - at 3 mph I would have thought the the number plate plinth should have reduced the damage, did you have one fitted?

Hope she is back to good health again very soon.

Side impact, just to the right of the front left headlight - plinth not in impact zone.

This will be against my own policy. So a C class Merc :-(

I think the dude at Works Service thought 'oh hell, he's calling me - what's wrong???'

When I told him I'd stacked it I think he was relieved!

I might even arrange a trip up to Newport Pagnell to have a look round.

It's all karma. I'm cool now, calmed down and even managed to laugh about it.
