For my unseemly outburst on the 'Coolest Brands' thread last eve. I am not having a case of 'the mental' but I think due to stress over my upcoming op I am a bit touchy at the moment, and some of the comments ( I still feel unjustified) made me spring into defence mode.

No excuse but I do apologise. I realise now that like Neil said the thread is mainly tongue in cheek. I give enough banter on here and should be able to take it too.

So a sincere sorry to anyone I may have offended.

Di

P.S to Jockman, thanks for email, really lovely. We will reply this eve when Tony has had a chance to see the pics.

I think you gave it back in the same tone with which possibly harsh judgements were handed out. It didn't read as very tongue-in-cheek to me.

I don't think you need to apologise to anyone Di smile

And all the best for the shoulder job - like I said, get a good physio, will make the recovery so much quicker!

Thoughts are with you Di regarding your OP, and DON'T try and rush recovery it will take as long as your body tell you it will take!

Apology accepted Di. I was a bit upset but, hey, worse things have happened biggrin

PS. Stop adding footnotes.

PPS. Good luck with the op.

PPPS. Tony is going on the razz with his mates whilst you are laid up.

PPPPS. Stop being a drama queen.

Di, I don't think you have anything to apoligise for. If that's how you felt at the time, then you have every right to put your point forward!

Good luck with the op, hope all goes well!

Sorry Di for my derogatory language, I had no place using the t word, I think I must have been spending too much time on other sections of the forum. Also fighting you corner is no bad thing its what makes threads interesting!

Enough, i will let you off Simon cos your car is such a beautiful colour, group hug. No way do I want that smug Scotsman calling me a drama queen. Thanks again for coments re my op though it is only a huge lump of bone being hacked from my shoulder probably using blunt saws, drills and bad language.

I will survive and return to haunt this forum.

Russell Square in Lahndahn? I hope you are not parking under Tottenham Court Road YMCA!

If you have never been there, imagine a super narrow, winding, uneven camber steep hill descending into the bowels of the earth. If you can get a DB9 down there without kerbing, sweating or profuse nervous sweating then you are a better man than I...
