Afternoon all

Can any of you please tell me what buttons can/should/must appear here in the centre console for manual cars up to model year 2007 and what functions or features they relate to please?

I can see many cars advertised with three buttons and four buttons and I am trying to figure out what function or feature is missing from the three button cars.

Thanks in advance for your replies thumbup

One of them is the passenger airbag warning light. Its Illuminated when the airbag is disabled.

3. Heated Front Window

4. Dynamic Stability Control

Assuming the V8V is the same as a DB9.

What's missing is probably the optional heated front screen button.

Have just done the run to DMS and dropped my car off and can't for the life of me remember what the 4th button is for...

Ok, so we have the following:

1) Heated front screen
2) Heated rear screen
3) Park distance control
4) Dynamic stability management
5) Airbag enabler/disabler button

So if 1 is optional and 2 is standard, does one button control both?

My DB9 manual is a '4 button car' and doesn't have the airbag warning light. Don't know that one at all.

So front screen optional, rear screen, PDC and traction seem to be about right.

I don't have any buttons there at all. They are on the vertical part of the centre consol.

And I know that one of them is the Sport Button smile

The Heated rear window button is higher up in the centre stack, next to the CC. (4th from the left)

On my DB9, I only had three, which were front screen, rear screen and PDC. There were five in front of the gearstick; A/C, air circulation, DSC, fog lights and hazards. That makes eight in total. The OP's car has four and four, so I'd guess it's the same eight, differently distributed.

Manual cars don't have sports buttons.

Yes - but it sits on the vertical part of the dash. There are no buttons in front of the armrest on the V12V.

That is my understanding too. The positioning is immaterial but I believe that these cars are all Manuals.

I could swear that the DBS I had a prodrive in a couple of weeks ago also had a Sports Button, but I may be mistaken.

The Dynamic Stability control button is in front of the gear lever.
That's the layout on my MY07 Vantage

Can't argue with that then! Strangely diferent to my 2006 DB9 manual - my airbag disable switch is mounted on the front bulkhead and only accessible when you open the driver's door.

Does the airbag button actually operate? On my 2006 V8 it simply showed the status - to disarm I am sure you had to stick a key in a socket that was hidden when the door was closed. Unless I am having a senior moment...
