Wiper smear marks

Just wondered if my wiper blades are set correctly as they leave a terrible v mark in the middle of the screen, also leaving detritus etc.V8 Vantage.

How long have they been on the car?

Give the blades a clean with baby wipes probably just tar etc stuck on the blade

Where the blades cover is ok,but at the end of the blades it seems to allow water between both large and small wiper blade thus creating a v shape in the centre of the screen.
Sorry if im not explaining myself correctly.
