Always thought matt black or dark grey would be good.

I was going to write - no to wraps. But then I see the magic words mako blue and I'm nodding...

Mako blue is without doubt the supreme colour for a V12V and I'm damn sure it'll be equally sublime on a V8 or a DB9, DBS, Rapide and I'm sure a Cygnet would be wonderful.

As it's temporary, I'd go met purple as not many cars never mind Astons out there in that colour.
Mako is cool though. Would be interested to see it parked next mine as a comparison!
4. Burnt orange is good too?

Metallic British racing green! Maybe Buckinghamshire Green, or Pentland Green.

What is the interior colour?

It would if you were a complete bell end.

Yes, matt paint tops my list of how to ruin a car. Followed by aftermarket or black alloy wheels. I just don't want to see yet another poor Aston Martin ruined.

John, I did offer my opinion - British racing green. However, I would also recommend Karussell orange or Sunburst yellow if the OP is after something a little different.

Exactly.

If you're gonna wrap it then grow a pair and wrap it in something that you love but would normally scare the st out of you.

I know it's not cheap - that's for the "If you don't like it just peel it off" brigade - but Gulf colours rather than just 'another' colour would be fantastic to experience.

Go on, shake on it, go on!!

I like the thought of doing something a bit out of the ordinary for a wrap. Giving me ideas.

Personally, I'd steer clear of the matt black or whatever as matt's been done, overdone really. Mako Blue or racing livery would be cool.

How much does a full wrap cost?

Karussell Orange looks fantastic and might be tempted.

Why oh why would anyone do that to a beautiful car? The problem with the matt wraps is you lose the contours of the shape, everything just merges into a flat dull background. The only thing worse than matt black as a wrap is matt grey. There is a guy I see most mornings driving down Moorgate in the City who has matt grey wrapped a black Lambo. Looks like its been primered ready for painting.

Gulf colours look good. The orange will only work in the summer in my opinion.

Should work, or close enough. Fun around Le Mans week but all year round you'll soon tire of it!
