I think some people are deluded Pete.Ever thought of trying Amazon ?? I´ve never tried them for car parts but their marketplace is considerably bigger than ebay ie the latter does $1 billion value transactions per month whilst Amazon Marketplace achieves this amount weekly

I have 8 spare ones in better condition than that one. £15 each on eBay huh

The extended warranty is poor. You are better off taking the £1200 or whatever it is and sticking in an ISA and if something breaks use it.
