Were you at Millbrook on 13th May 2010?
Discussion
So who amongst you lot can remember being at Millbrook on Thursday 13th May last year? I think it must have been a dealer-sponsored jolly 'cos Rob GT went along at the invitation of Broughtons (having been to them for first test drive in February followed by a Gaydon visit then this do - they know how to weaken a man's resistance don't they !).
Anyway this is the back to school thread about the big boys in the playground picking on my poor, bewildered husband ! He has told me recently that, at lunchtime that day, he was with a bunch of people who all seemed to know one another yet not in the flesh (as it were, so to speak ). Turns out they all used to chat to one another on something called Pistonheads.
What do I mean about picking on him? Well, apparently, they all ganged up on him saying stuff like 'buy the Aston', 'go for it', you've got to have one' etc. Sound familiar?
Right, well when you're ready to confess report to my office - I'm going to have to give some thought as to the punishment

Back then I thought a Yeti was a mythical creature that one would never actually meet.
Actually it's the type of mountain bike of which I have three...Not a lot of 'owning up' going on here, as Pete mentions, perhaps the severity and type of punishment should be mentioned... people may come clean as it were...
Sounds like the poor man was thrown into a bear pit.
How could he let himself be so easily lead, what would the neighbours be thinking and I bet it's still the only
Aston in the village.
Should I confess to such a terrible crime or further more name and shame the others involved with this lunchtime
automotive crime of passion.......
What punishment befits such a wrong doing?,can I bring myself to tell?.
Pity the NOTW has gone as this could have been the great Aston scandal with the odd famous name thrown in for good measure.
Oh well lets see if anyones going to own up to up skittling Rob's world as he knew it.

Eduardo, were your ears burning ??You were just being mentioned in an email I was writing to the husband of a certain young Lady.
Good to have you back on board - your erudite charm has been missed

Thanks for that my little Tartan terror but there is a tail of woe sadly attached to my recent flat lining.
The past couple of months have been alittle helter skelter to say the least resulting in some nasty surgery for my
wife but hopefully things are on the up on that front.
Oh bloody hell, Ive also just sent you an mail Ed from Di's Mac then logged on to PH and seen this. The past couple of months have been alittle helter skelter to say the least resulting in some nasty surgery for my
wife but hopefully things are on the up on that front.
Truly hope all goes well with your good lady.
Love and best wishes to you both and sorry to hijack thread.

Molly, this is how the PH bullies work.
Di and I went to a very nice friendly V8V homecoming, but after being accosted by Ed50 (Biffa Bacon) we could do nothing but nervously hand over our hard earned dosh on a V12.
Praise the Lord
Oh and Yeti is just a pussy cat, its Tony Hall you need to steer clear of. Scary!!!

Surely that being the case, Mikey would have had no option but to buy a Fern Green V8SR. In the event he and Molly seem to have bought a Silver one.Tony
Not sure what colour ED50 subscribes to. Given I can't recall one can only assume.....
