Had key hole surgery this evening at local Nuffield to repair my knee. Have been given Morphine plus other yummy stuff. Back home feeling almost delirous. I have a lovely wife and 25 year old daughter. I love my home plus , you know the next bit a stunning Asto Martin Vantage V8S. It cannot get any better than this!

Rob, stop posting girly threads you big Jessie.

It´s called an Arthroscopy.

Be good to Molly or she may decide to smash your other knee cap smile

I had similar surgery done on my shoulder a few weeks ago and they sent me home with a prescription for dilaudid. Wonderful stuff, isn't it?

I personally wouldn't be mentioning 25 year old daughters on here......we have some whipper snappers in Aston's who might ask for her number and on top of that you'll make the 'old folks' on here feel even older! STOP IT and get well soon!

I never said anything. Merely a smilie smile

I very rarely play Fifa as I have stated several times. I wish I had the spare time to waste playing it all the time!

Sorry about Mr GT - he gets a bit emotional at times then with the drugs too ....rolleyes

As for the daughter - you'll be pleased to know that yes, she's a gorgeous, leggy blond who likes to drive her MX5 with the top down and no, she's definitely not a Fifa gamer (each to their own sleep). However, she is recently engaged (to a bloke with an Alfa not an Aston but hey - you can't win 'em all!biggrin)

Which knee?
The left one won't stop you driving it wink
If it's the right one just put a chair in the garage, that'll soon heal it wink
Get better soon!

Thank God she has gone into the shower. Right . Has anyone issues on this new gearbox fitted to the S? Most but not all of the road tests are more than favourable. I would cite Steve Sutcliffe's road test from Autocar as being from someone in the know. In D mode it is a little lumpy, but touch the paddles you are in control. It is a manual box not a dual clutch set up. When changing up back off the throttle just as you would in a manual car. After a short while it is so obvious to do so. I promise you the change is imperceptible. Next Sport Mode. Totally different, just work those paddles, the gear changes are fluid , so fast, then when you have done about 1000 miles the engine revs to about 7200rpm. Fantastic. Downchanges are awesome going into corners.
