Discussion
Hi, All
I've been lurking around for a while now
Does anyone know this vehicle or the dealer?

I look forward to your replies and hopefully I'll be in my V8V soon
Take care,
John

WTF is going on with the centre console? Wood in a V8V? Its not an old man's DB9!
Didn't think any V8V's actually left the factory with wood interior. Can only assume its been modified since. Would check the fit, and check if it squeaks around the centre console.
Its not got integrated phone / bluetooth by the looks of the (lack of) buttons on left side of steering wheel.
Check their warranty carefully. If necessary, as part of the deal get them to take it to an Aston Dealer for a warranty check (£240 IIRC), and get the Aston extended warranty.

If I recall correctly from Grant's excellent book (see thread on this) you could spec wood console from factory although this option was removed from later model years but I can't remember when as I don't have the book in front of me.
I can't look at the link through the over-prescriptive work firewall but I bet the car is 05-06. If so, chances are it was factory fit rather than retrofit.

To be honest, I think I must have had a moment of madness! I hate the wood trim and was thinking of retro fitting the standard trim anyway. I was just toying with the idea if indie prices V's Aston Dealership. To be honest, I think Aston dealerships are the way to go FOR ME.
Thanks,
John
Thanks,
John

It is a dealer fit option as well so easily changed if you know what you are doing.

Ah OK, thanks Mikey. It is a dealer fit option as well so easily changed if you know what you are doing.
'The Bible' says that walnut/mahogany/bamboo fascia trims and platinum silver fittings were taken off the standard options list for MY 6.5 but by that I thought it meant the centre console.
