New Vantage owner.

Hello all.
Just a quick post to say hello and to follow the law of posting pics.I bought the car about 1 month ago but went on holiday 2 days later so haven't had that much time with it yet.I gave it clean today and took a few pics so I could post them on here. It's a 2007 in Grigio Titanio which was my first choice colour and has a decent spec, inc nav, stereo upgrade, piano black fascia, heated screen etc.I have it booked in at a local garage to have 4 new tyres fitted on Tuesday as the present rubber is crap.Loving every second in it so far.The attention it brings is a bit embarrassing, do you get used to it?

Thanks for the welcome.Grigio really suits the car,I was quite lucky to find one as they are thin on the ground,Derby had one in but they would not take my RS4 as a p/x,they still have it I believe. The reason for changing the tyres is because they are not AM approved,I maybe could have lived with them if they had have been a decent brand, but they are a mixture of cheap rubbish.I will feel much happier with the car when it's got Bridgestones fitted. It is suffering slightly from the dreaded corrosion problem around the passenger door handle,I'm in two minds whether to take it to a local Aston Martin Approved centre ( not a dealer) and see if they can sort it out, or just find a decent body shop. It's a weekend car so I want it looking tip top.

My DB7 was Ferrari Grigio Titanio, I think it is the most characterful of the silver paints, so much flake in it, beautiful. Hadn't seen a Vantage in it before, looks great!Get it to an Aston approved bodyshop, they'll have seen the galvanic reaction corrosion before, but compare prices and do haggle. Also wait until winter when they're less busy, car will be fine to drive like it is for another couple of months.
