V12V & Stoneguards
Discussion
I was told by the dealer the "top" side is less prone than the N400 or std sill.
I already planned a full Venture shield PPF kit which includes the "top" of the sill. Worked wonders on my last car.
It does cover the front edge of the sill in the wheel arch, which gets a good grit blasting on the roads I like
Taking the paint off to reveal the fibrelass (sorry composite)

I have had the stoneguards modified to fit mine and I am pleased that I did. The dealer fitted them before I took delivery of the new car. I have no marks on my sills at all in 21 months of ownership and 13000 miles. I can't say the same for the front of the car unfortunately where the soft paint is prone to marking.

They look good. Do you know if they are V8V ones just modified? I would think a hot air gun and a sharp knife would be all that was needed to modify. Did that years ago and fitted P205 gti 1.6 flaps to a 1.9 gti when dealer said it couldnt be done
I don't remember (although I could call Broughtons if anyone is interested). They cost, modified and fitted, £127. Sounds like a lot for two pieces of rubber but I didn't know anything came that cheaply from AM !WantanewV12V said:
