Anyone know this car?
Discussion
I confess I am salivating. http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3157952.htm
I did think if I changed it would be for a Volante but I keep looking at this car.
I adore my Vantage but have a very big mmmmmmmm for the DBS.
Please talk me out of it.

Dont know the car so cant help unfortunately. Still happy as larry with mine a year on whereas the Vantage i started thinking about swapping after 4 months. Still never seen a manual volante, as far as I know there was only ever a RHD press car built. I cant justify a new order...for now!

Ok, apart from wanting me to part with my cash (well OH's cash), serious question, as I know little about the DBS other than two extra useless seats, has there been any important, must have upgrades since this beauty's inception that I should be aware of?
Di
The one you are looking at has two useful parcel areas rather than the two useless seats. To me, that is the preferred configuration. Other than the B&O audio system standard on later models, I don't think there are any substantive changes.Di

The DBS is a lovely car of that there is no doubt but it's more of a GT than a sports car (IMO). Di
As we all know, the V12 engine and gearbox in the DBS is the same as you have in the Vantage but in the Vantage the engine DEFINES the car, in the DBS it adds to the overall package.

Having spent a day at Millbrook during a PDC in a DBS, it holds its own as a sports car imo, also the opinion of the instructor taking me round. Although its based on the DB9, it performs very well at a GT too! Ive had mine 12 months now and I have no doubt I get 2 for 1 in this package. Any more fun, i have a fireblade too!
