Autumn Concours - Anybody Going ??
Discussion
I know it clashes with the DBS Meeting at Gaydon, but is anyone popping over to the AMOC Concours on Sunday 25th September at Chavenage House in the Cotswolds ??
Tickets are £24 in advance or £30 on the day per car, including free guided tours of the House. AMOC Members get the usual free glass of Taittinger in the ballroom. Picnics hampers can also be ordered in advance.
The Elizabethan Manor looks formidable, including Cromwell's Room, with a lot of English Civil War history on show.

Is there actually an Aston meeting that isn't down south?
Your car has 4 wheels Georgeous. The trouble is that most of the picturesque settings are either south of Manchester or north of Lancaster.
With that little stty bit inbetween

Glad I'm north of Preston then The trouble is that most of the picturesque settings are either south of Manchester or north of Preston.

The car does have 4 wheels, but also a limited mileage insurance policy. Plus the fact that I cannot be arsed to do a 400 mile round trip, which means I generally have to get a hotel for a night, plus all the other expenses that go with it. Turns a day out into an expensive weekend!
Very close to me but will probably not go.
NB Only £7 per adult for normal entry (£3.50 for nippers)so cheaper than AMOC if anyone wants to go just for a snoop around

i'm going.....i think , normally enter Elite class...better parking...
I thaught you had to have won something to enter elite.I'll be there again this year - the drive down from (nearly) 'up north' is all part of the fun (and a useful excuse when not winning anything).
Is this typical of an AMOC event.... £24 for up to 7 people ??????
But £24 for me and the wife.....
'NB. Only £7 per adult for normal entry (£3.50 for nippers)so cheaper than AMOC if anyone wants to go just for a snoop around smile' ???
Hows that work then!!!
Does this mean you really can get in for £15 for two??
Why don't AMOC advertise this lowe price entry fee I wonder, or am I missing something?
gadgit.
