In late 2008 at the height of the credit crunch I bought a nice 32 month old DB9 Volante from a dealer for £55k, no warranty but it had 3 months Aston warranty left so no problems.

Today I had a peek at values and the cheapest DB9 Volante with a bit of warranty left (or under 3 years) is £65k so we have a fair way to go to be at 2008 levels using Astons as an indicator

My DBS requirement will have to wait a little longer unfortunately ......

What makes you say prices will be at their softest in around 12 weeks time?

I think your £55k purchase was exceptionally good - in 2007 I paid £96k for the same car 15 months old with 6k on the clock. You might wait a long time to repeat your deal . What is yours worth now though ?

David's did have a few miles on it and it wasn't the most popular colour (dark blue) but he sold it for what he paid for it........at the time it was a very good buy

Yep it was just under 30k miles and blue is spot on for myself (however a DBS has to be a shade of grey) and yes it was a good deal but from a dealer not private ie the arse fell out of the market, im sitting on the edge waiting to come back in.
