It's all to do with the P.C.D and the offset. The wheels on a Rapide are unique amongst the Astons, all the others (current range) use pretty much the same P.C.D. Offset is pretty critical too (The distance from the wheel centre to the edge of the rim) Rapide uses a larger P.C.D to help spread the load being a bigger car. Doesn't really help you but hope it explains why nothing else seems to fit.

The Rapide is the dearest of the winter tyre and wheel sets, they are available for the V8 vantage, V8S, V12 Vantage, DB9, DBS and Virage and range in price from £2117.50 plus vat for the V8 vantage up to the £3020 plus vat for the Rapide, everything else is in-between these prices,
Are they much smaller? I don't actually know what the winter wheels look like but clearly shows they rip off for the 'summer' ones!I'm thinking of braving a run to the Alps in February so it's certainly something I should be looking more into.

Exactly find out the PCD, offset, width and diameter of the Radide wheelThen use this useful calculator to see if an aftermarket wheel will fit

To correct:Offset: distance between the wheel centerline and the mounting surface of the wheel, not to the edge of the rim.
Backspace: distance between the mounting surface and the edge of the rim

what have you been quoted for the winter tyre and wheel set, should be £3020.00 plus vat this would be for 4 wheels and the winter tyres,
11.000 Eur, which is roughly 3x your price !!! Vantage V8 was 5500 Eur! I ended up buying a used set of RIMS with used summer tires, and 4 new winter tires. But the chance I get one used set for Rapide would be 0... watchrabbit said:

I have seen this many times before the Aston Martin parts system does not list the kits in the normal parts pictures and reading the system they will price up the wheels and tyres separately, I do not believe this is intentional as it is not obvious, and to the cost of the dealer network this has worked in my favour just because I know where too look, (note to self advertising this fact will cost me sales) the part number you would require is BD43-36-10100 talk to your dealer and I am sure firstly they do not know of this kit and secondly it is significantly cheaper than you have been quoted originally, the other option is let me know if I can be of help, Update: Rick, you were (of course) RIGHT! Dealer looked stupefied because the price was so different than the standard one. They called Gaydon... 4050€ the set ;-)
Rick: MANY THANKS AGAIN!
Now only question is: buy the set or only the tires for 1400€, save 2600€ and swap every 6 months? Is there anything dangerous in doing so?
