Read in this month's Classis & Sportscar that a (previously) mint V8 Vantage ended up in the Thames recently. It's believed to have been driven by Mike Smith (Aston car sales and automobilia chap) at the time. I hope:

A: Mr Smith is OK
B: The Aston is restored to it's former glory

The Aston was recently featured in C&S. It was totally mint, a gorgeous low mileage car.

A very sad picture of the car appeared with the news article

Very sad. I know that car. What were the details behind it?

How did it end up in the Thames anyhow???

Not sure, the story is a bit thin. A witness heard the car "speeding around the area" before the driver lost control. He was pulled out but the car went under. Seems it appeared the next day two miles downsteam

I don't think it's helpful to propogate rumours about someone's personal life on the internet.
