Good weekend spoiled by parking next to a granite kerb which acted like a lathe on the front nearside alloy. Apparently the local Aston dealer does refurns in house - any ideas as to what I should expect to pay - or does it depend on the damage ?

You could approach works service and see if they have any suitable wheels available?

I was less than happy with the results of having one of my wheels re-furbed locally and Martyn at WS offered a great deal.

For one wheel?? You can buy a wheel for that!!

Had my all four of my sports pack wheels done, diamond cut and repainted grey on the inside for £450.

Have a chat with Lepsons.
£65 per wheel for a refurb. Extra if welding is involved.
They do a quality job.

I did buy a replacement wheel. I wasn't totally happy with the refurb but the damage was heavy to be fair to the company concerned which meant my eyes always travelled to the imperfections left on the wheel. Its fair comment to say I'm a fussy, uncompromising git and I should be more relaxed but I couldn't get past the wheel. In a way it reminded me of my initial carelessness by causing the damage.

In Cambridge area at a dealer I payed £120 for one wheel....it was sent away and dipped as it had been repaired previously so I wanted it done properly...

If it is a 10 spoke painted one , should'nt pay more than £75.
If it is a 15 spoke diamond turned wheel (these where the opitional extra wheel) then you are looking at £120 , as someone said get it dipped .
Pristine alloys in Woburn are very very good , takes upto 5 days .

Did my 10-spoke graphite diamond turned wheel on a kerb last week. Most annoying! I guess as they're lacquered I should get it done ASAP before corrosion gets in?
Only scraped the rim so hopefully it's repairable.
Live near Swindon so Lepson's is probably the best bet.
