Very nice pics - what kind of mileage did you rack up?

yes it is Chateau D'Etoges - fab place and fab food, my other pics ( Reims etc) haven't loaded for some reason . Mileage was just over 1500 in total, with 98 octane at an average of 1.65 euro per litre the fuel bill was quite high. Fuel consumption was 22.4 for the trip.

How did you find the car for that kind of distance? I am rather keen to drive down to Monte Carlo next April for the Top Marques supercar show.

Looks like aluminium silver to me, although I could be wrong.

Agreed 22.4 mpg is not trying hard enough! Sounds like too many motorways and not enough twisty back roads smile

Ten hours driving on French autoroutes is less tiring than four hours of aggro on our clapped out and overcrowded motorways.

I'm driving to Monaco this Wednesday, it's pretty pleasant actually in the V8V because it just glues to the road and off you go. I too will be driving back down for TMM next April as well though; would you be interested in convoying down?

I was looking at the dates earlier and will probably be stopping in Paris on the 16th and the rest of the way on the 17th. The first day of TMM is Thursday 19th. Most likely I'll then head back on Monday or Tuesday afterwards but as yet undecided.

Snap, back in June this year, but in Onyx Black smile Was part of our trip to Monaco. At some point will post some better pictures of the whole trip. But the car was great and we did 2500 miles, just got back in time for the Hever Castle meet.

Most certainly up for a convoy, not sure how much time I will be able to get off work - but probably leave Thursday night and aim to get back on the Tuesday.

Could be wrong as lighting/cameras can be deceptive but looks a lot like AM Titanium Silver to me

You might be right
It's lighter than Tungsten (I know I got the wrong touch up wink )
But it doesn't change like Lightning Silver

It is Titanium Silver, wouldn't have been my first choice but it has grown on me considerably since.

Me too, I set out to get one in Meteorite or Tungsten but along came the Titanium one and all preferences went out the window.

Having gone from London to Lyon today, I can safely say the V8V is a very comfortable long-distance cruiser!
