Hello all again.

Its been nearly two months now with first ownership of baby aston, no no no not the cygnet but my pride and joy vantage.
I went for an 06 model in titanium silver with the usual extras and a glorious navy leather with cream roof interior.
It has always been a front runner for me to get an aston although a C2S ran a close 2nd. I tracked both albeit the 4.7 paddle shift and C2S PDK for a little more feel of them both, yes the 911 went around on rails but I might aswell have felt I was in a ford mondeo as it just did nothing for me in looks both in and out. The vantage felt obviously a little heavier around the track but even with helmet on you could hear the wonderful sound, the car handled surprisngly well however and as it was'nt mine I threw it into corners a little harder and was just pushing it more and it managed fine, didnt step outta line at all.
Now back to reality, I have little choice on Astons as living in Ireland and selection is awful. I had a price range and could only afford 2006.
After much waiting and daily scans of the net one popped up on radar and I was all over it. 2006 20k fsh immaculate condition and all boxes ticked.
Out with the old and in with the new, Still threading carefully as I came from AWD motor, strangely found myself driving slow and this is the biggest surprise. I don't wanna be right up on cars on motorways due stone chips and I just enjoy cruising in the slow lane, whats happened to me. Fuse22 is out and punch it a few times for ever so exagerated overtakes on motorways but then gently glide back into slow lane..

Anyways, loving the car. Everynow and then I get the squeak from right rear at low speeds but cant figure out which bit to gentle pull on, the brake disc spring retaining clip ? but not sure, only happens rarely.
The chrome fitting on the door window just above the handle ever so slightly is raised about 1cm so you can see a clasp where it should be and I cant manage to remedy that. One last thing, which was a nasty surprise but quickly remedied ! One morning last week, came out and car was dead as a door nail, turned key and nothing, no power to seats, could'nt pop boot or get handbook outta glovebox (note to self put handbook behind seat) and not a glimmer of life on dash.
Q 24hrs of Ctek3600 to work its magic but no avail and 12V checked on battery. Off my pride and joy went on a truck to my dismay, returned 3days later, turned out to be loose grounding wire from battery so replaced with new and a nice sparkling car delivered back. Countless phone calls from AM assist and must say I was plesantly surprised with the attention..
So in short Love it and no I have no regrets..
1 teaser pic (vantage angles ) as I care not to be shot for such treason.

very nice, glad to hear you are enjoying it smile

squeak could be a wheel bearing (ive had 2 replaced on my Jan 06 car) or the brakes sticking a bit, maybe the handbrake caliper needs checking. Ive had both occur over the last 60k miles
