Carbon Mirrors now fitted V12 Vantage
Discussion
After much thought I decided to go for the more expensive carbon mirrors from the Vantage collection based in the States. They have arrived and were fitted last week by my dealer for free. (Click on snap photo for more pics)
I think they look the business.
Let me know your thoughts

Very nice. I've been looking at these along with the carbon fibre strakes. AMGreg has the strakes and I think they'd look fab on your car.
Well you could knock me down with a feather, Johnny Boy I can see why OP has chosen this pic, with those fabulous wheels but only by looking at the full frontal pic did I fully appreciate the gravitas of the change.
As with another OP who did a wrap in the wing mirror area, I find myself in the unchartered waters of...actually liking it.
Certainly would not have spent my meagre resources on it though. Liking, appreciating, committing to such a change are all conflicting verbs in this instance
What I really like about them IMO is that don't look like an after thought add-on. I agree the smaller ones would have been better. However, it is what it is.
I guess being honest with you all I want to make the car personal to me and these small changes help IMO. Regarding the side trims I wanted to keep them chrome as I have rear Chrome inserts in the lights.

To be honest, for me the jury is out - but as I own a onyx-black one, even if I fitted them I wouldn't achieve the contrast you have, which is I guess part of the point. But as others have said, definitely one of the better aftermarket options - looks like it came with them....
On a slightly more detail point, when looking at the big version of the pic I noticed you have "V12" on the front-wing panel under the side strake? I don't remember mine having that - or does it, or should it?
Mmmmmm, must have a look.....

Shame, if they were the old style I would have been tempted.
I'm sure the Vantage Collection would do either size mirror cover. But they're very expensive! The other option is to wrap the covers you already have. There was a picture on another thread where the mirror support brackets had been wrapped and they looked excellent.

They were expensive. However, its all relative to the price of the car........... and they do say you pay for what you get The other option is to wrap the covers you already have. There was a picture on another thread where the mirror support brackets had been wrapped and they looked excellent.
