To be honest Johnny Boy, MOST of the lighter shaded silver AMs I see do indeed have a sort of blue hue to them.
Some pics recently posted on the Bright Grille topic I actually thought were indeed Mako, until noted by the poster.
Must be an optical illusion - perhaps something in the pigmentation? - and I'm relieved I'm not the only one seeing it

"brave" interior!
I saw Mako blue next to Lightning Silver last weekend. They are close but the Mako a more defined blue and doesn't change colour in different lights, in dull light it almost looks like a pastel colour. Lightning has tints in the lacquer and changes alot with different lights, its alot like the TVR "chameleon" colours. I've not seen a photo on here yet that true shows the range of colours from it.
In certain lights it has a purple tone to it.
Dealers often get the description wrong, they seem to copy a generic set then add the wrong options!
I've also seen a few N400's up for sale with AM dealers who have no idea what it is
It pays to do your homework!
