V8V clock reading fast
Discussion
Hi
Just noticed a slightly strange problem - the analogue clock is reading a few minutes faster than the time set in the menu. e.g. if I set the time to be 18:00, the clock moves round to 1805!
I guess I could set the time 5 minutes slow, but then the sat nav time will be wrong as well.
A minor issue I know! But is this a common problem? Got a service coming up so hopefully they can sort it, but would be interested to know if it can be fixed by software or if it'll be a bigger job.

Over what period is the analogue clock gaining time?
It's just in the setting menu - clock is the second option I think (this is a 4.7 so with the newer centre console)Over what period is the analogue clock gaining time?
The clock doesn't gain over time, it reads fast as soon as the time is set - i.e. always five minutes ahead of the set time.

sMurph you big nonce...Turn on your stereo and then press menu.
You should have Door Lock Settings, Lights Settings, Vin Number, iPod Settings and Clock Settings. My 09 Manual only states the first 3 of these but then when I check on the car I have all 5.
Interestingly this should also be where the 'wing mirrors dip in reverse' setting should be but I do not have that.
It really seems to depend on your model and MY
