So, finally got round to following Warren's (3200GT) suggestion to have my "flaky" mirror surrounds wrapped rather than sprayed :

Very pleased with the result although getting the mirrors off took much longer than expected laugh

Anyway, thanks to Sharon & Tony at Integra Signs in Letchworth, very helpful (and patient) indeed smile

Cheers, Gerry

Use a bigger hammer next time wink
Glad you like the look, how much did it end up costing?

The actual wrapping for both surrounds was around £ 50, the labour charge for removing the door panels to get to the mirrors etc. was around £ 90 cry Still, I'm genuinely very happy with the end result smile

£90 sounds a bit OTT to remove 8 screws and undo 1 electrical connector each side. Really is a 5 minute job to get the mirrors off.

With your coloured car, I may have been tempted to get the mirrors done to match... That has come out very well!

Not a great lover of the wraps Gerry, but that is so subtle and elegant that I quite like it.

Well done, young man smile
