why do you think bigger wheels will make cornering better? ...if anything, I would have thought they will make it worse, if they are heavier and increasing unsprung weight

ride quality will be worse with less sidewall, the OE 40/45 profile tyres are already "low profile" by normal standards

so if its purely for looks, then perhaps a different style of wheel would suit? or do some other cosmetic tweaks like splitter/diffuser etc

edit: heres a link to a easy to understand article on the physics of wheels n tyres http://autospeed.com.au/cms/title_Tyres-Grip-and-A...

DBS alloys can be had in 19" and 20" in the early style. I am also considering the move to 20" rims simply to get bigger brakes on the car. I will probably find a solution for my 19"s though.

I think the Vantage/DB9 looks good as is on 19"s, but I would like another couple of inches of rubber on the road at the rear and the 20in rims are that little bit wider...

They look good on the Lambo, I think they may look a little thin on the Vantage.

Can you *really* not see the difference between them? The Aston wheels have 5 spokes that split into two and are much thicker. The others have 10 evenly spaced thin spokes. Like I said, they're both round and both have spokes, but...

They're not a bad looking wheel I will agree, but if you want it to look like it's wearing OEM wheels, this won't be fooling many people smile

Fortunately we all like different things beer

Also Yeti, the Aston wheels have rubber round them.

No way hosee am I driving a car without a tyre on it, don't care what the Lambo drivers do.
