V12 boot - bump on the right side

Reminded me that the V12 has a squared off box on the right side of the sloped area above the fuel tank and transaxle. Does anyone know what the box is for??

I got told it was the housing for the B@O system by a dealership,but I stand to be corrected.

Correct its the B&O amp. Which means you cant have the weird leather boot saddle thing if you have B&O.

Thanks chaps. Which means that there should be a big void behind the seats on the opposite side to the battery since that's where the 700W system amplifier used to live. I will have a look...
