Another thanks to Rick @ DMS.. Lowered my Vantage
Discussion
It bugs me that factory cars sit a little too high for my liking, all resolved with help from Rick at DMS.
Car is nicely lowered with H&R springs, and now handles 100% times better. Feels more planted. Importantly, car looks amazing, the stance is much more muscular and those rear arches 'cup' the rear wheels as they should do from standard imho.
Yes some will frown you're messing with the original geometry set by the original research from the manufacture. Well history shows motor sport companies invest just as much money into their own products for motors ports, and eventually these products/research make it on to production cars. F1 is proof of that.

Nicer ride height - Always wanted to do mine. Rear spacers are a must now !!!!!!
How does it ride?
Had the same done to my DB9 but also had 20mmm rear spacers and 15mm front. With Rick's fast road geometry settings it drives like a dream, different car. H&R springs are superb, no crashing over bumps, just compliant with no body roll. Slow over speed bumps though, have touched the front lip a few times, can't be helped How does it ride?
IIRC the H&R's lower it 1.25"?
I've contemplated this on the V8VR and did it with coil overs on the last car.
At that sort of drop a few issues occur because you are running the wishbone at different angles to designers optimum.
You get a lot more bump steer on the front, your limited with the camber adjustment and may not get it back to factory spec, the dynamic toe change can cause more oversteer.
Get the geo checked after a month or so the springs will settle slightly.

hi mickey the drop is 20mm on the V8 vantage, which is the actual tolerance for the allowed drop of the original suspension, with any new suspension change we set it slightly to compensate for some settling, so readjustment is not normally required although it won't hurt and we would do this foc on any we have modified, ,

Thanks. Was just driving home early and looking at how many sleeping policeman and those annoying square speed bumps there is.

I'm sooooooo tempted to do the spacer thing, but I backed out at the last moment. Something inside me felt uncomfortable about doing this, maybe the image of old regarding spacers and how wheels used to fall off !How does it ride?
I wanted to see how the car looked after the lowering, in the flesh wheels look great in the arches now.

I have speed bumps I have to tackle every day, so far no problems Was just driving home early and looking at how many sleeping policeman and those annoying square speed bumps there is.
It's just the right height, not too low.
I can't stop looking at her, looks so much better. Wider and muscular. From the back she looks great too.
Money well worth spending.
