Only one place to go Derby Motor Services, arrive early have a cup of coffee take the other half to Derby City centre and have look round Westfield and by lunch time Rick and excellent team would have finished!

Hi iam new to this forum, just bought a beautiful DB9.

I live in Milton Keynes i will be using AM Works Service at Newport Pagnell, great reputation.

There is also an Indie based in Olney called Des Smail, good rep, not much cheaper than AM, but i want the Works Service in the handbook. cheers

Cheers all, DMS seem to get everyones vote. Only catch is they're 2 hours and 130 miles away from me. Anybody know of someone with similar reputation nearer ? Are DMS that much cheaper as otherwise the petrol will outway any cost saving wink

I travel up from Reading and frankly I think Rick and his team are top notch can't remember exact cost for last service which was effectively the 5th annual somewhere around £500 rings a bell. Give him a call and you'll be pleasantly surprised at his rates. Details here http://www.derbymotorservices.com/

+/- a few quid is irrelevant - as is all this drivel about bacon sandwiches on other posts.

Derby Motor Services will give diligent, knowledgeable attention to your car at a reasonable price. You may well get extra work done for little or no cost, just because it was noticed that it needed doing.

I drive 165 miles to get there and often stay locally overnight on my way up.

There's a reason for that.

One chap even drives up to Derby from the south coast, such is the depth of regard for Rick and DMS.

That may be me - Eastbourne-ish,200 miles door to door two years on the trot and even taking into account fuel and an overnight stay still saved a packet and knew the Vantage was in the best possible hands. Nothing was ever overlooked and so many little bits and pieces sorted, and normally for free. Rick is fab !!
