FIA GT racing info

I posted the following in the Aston forum on 6speed but didn't get any responses. I'm guessing some of you on this site may know more about GT racing, so I figured I try the post here as well:
"I've been reading up on Aston's involvement with GT racing and I'd like to learn more. Anyone know of a good reference that summarizes the primary regulations that define which cars can compete within each class (GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4)? I'm talking about things like horsepower, weight, and other critical car specs. I've searched the interwebs for this information with my google machine, but I just seem to get a lot of garbage. Thanks!"

I went through a similar search recently after seeing a GT3 race at Silverstone where I was surprised at some of the entries and wanted to see the current regulations. The information you seek is on this page (right hand tabs) of the official FIA site:
http://www.fia.com/en-GB/sport/regulations/Pages/I...
There are pdfs that cover the sporting and technical regs plus list of cars that are homologated for each class, very detailed if that's what you are looking for.
