Recommend a garage for servicing.
Discussion
Hi,
Getting my 2001 DB7 VV ready for sale and want to get it serviced, the last 3 have been at a Jag/Aston specialist local to me (Greencats in Essex) which I have been pleased with and have had all their reccomendations done, new coils, pads, discs, suspension bushes, etc. etc. But I do think the car derserves one last platinum service and check over prior to sale (although probably due in the month or so after I sell it. Car has 37500 miles on the clock but can anyone recommend the best place to take it (ideally adding a little desireability to potential purchasers of the car). Closer to Colchester the better but will go further if required.
Thanks in advance
Pete

I can recommend Rick's team at DMS, I had my N400 serviced there again last week and you can happily trust them to do a good job for you. There is always something interesting in the workshop and Rick doesn't mind you wandering around and chatting to the lads working on your car and Rick's always got a good tale to tell too. Anyone buying your car will have heard of Rick if they haven't dealt with him personally, in fact someone rang up for buying advice while I was there.
I would also trust Rick at DMS without hesitation after listening to many people on this forum.
However, if you are looking to add a bit of desirability to a potential purchaser (someone that isn't that familiar with the brand or this forum), perhaps you are better off going to a main dealer?

Would echo Rick's place as well!
However, it's a DB7 so I would also say Chiltern Aston, it is the spiritual home of the DB7 and anyone in the market for a DB7 will be happy to see that stamp. In all liklihood they will know about the place and have already have spoken to them.
Or if you want to really treat it, yourself and the next owner, Works Service are always there...
