AMV8 Thatcham Category Alarm

Hi,

I purchased a 2006 V8 Vantage last week which I am very happy with... I've stuck a picture on here to show you all. Now my insurer is asking me to provide a Thatcham Category Immobiliser Declaration so I can run with the policy I was running previously for my Porsche which is a bit of a pain. Does anyone know where I can find/obtain such information? I've tried contacting the dealers but drawn a blank!

You can download the standard letter from https://www.astonmartintechinfo.com/ but will need to pay the £70 fee for access, or just ask your dealer for the letter

Ok thanks for that but I am reluctant to shell out £70 just for a letter! Does anybody have one that they could send me?

Like I said dealer interaction has been very limited, unless anyone has a direct point of contact to someone 'on the inside'?

Bit poor service from the dealer - they should have access to it, as it is with all the TSBs and other factory issued documents. I dont have a copy of the V8 one, only DB9 and V12V, sorry. Try calling AM tech services on 01926 644720 amtech @ astonmartin.com
