Really weird experience as I was hurtling around the Scottish Glens this week, whilst on steady state throttle at lowish rpm and under light load the car *coughed* for a few milliseconds as if it had cut out. Then carried on again as if nothing happened. Only happened the once and a quick search on here could find nothing similar. Car is an 08 4.3 N400 Manual with low miles (<7k).

Also; (unrelated) I got a dash warning "TYRE SYSTEM FAULT" for about 20 miles before it cleared itself.

Nice to see these character traits providing amusement for me and the wife on our 1,000 drive this week. Car managed 20.5mpg and an average of 55 mph so not really hanging around and after the last 440 mile leg I was fresh as a daisy - great all round GT car smile

I kicked off a thread about this a couple of years ago as it happened to me on quite a few occasions....

This has happened 3 times in 2 years in my 2008 V8V 4.3 Vantage. Not too often but disconcerting when it does happen!

Have had the cut out issue happen once in mine in abut 9 months of ownership. Had already done the TB clean so have asked the dealer to take a look when it is in for a service and report back with any findings.

Completely unrelated I'm sure, but this happened in my mate's Z3 last weekend and it was a loose battery terminal.
