Now that's a bit embarrasing for them...

The day dawned that finally the Aston was to be mine. All details checked and Car put in a Transporter to be delivered to me.
The excitement mounted as the truck pulled up, the back was dropped and there she was......
The anticipation as the driver gets in to get her out, then......nothing.
It was when I saw him scratch his head I knew it was not going well.
So he calls his boss.
And off she goes back to where she came from.
Disappointed doesn't even start to cover it.

Bump this thread!
Just seen it in the photos thread. looks utterly stunning, glad its back all working. One of those Astons to my mind that all the bits / angles don't work, but put it together and its just
keep us updated on your thoughts. Feeling mightily envious, one of those cars from my childhood that I always lusted after.

I would have liked a manual, unfortunately with my Frame I can't drive one! My Legs are too long and interfere with the steering wheel whilst using the clutch!
Having had a bit of a play over the weekend all I can say is Wow, so much more sorted than my last one.
The front left was a bit more crashy than the right, checked the Tyre pressures and the left was 3 psi over, corrected that and the ride is now spot on.
The one thing that really hits you is the old car smell, just wonderful, even standing outside the aroma is there.
Ever drive is an occasion, not just for me! It certainly attracts attention wherever I go.
All in all very happy!
